CHENGDU, Jan 17 (NBD) -- Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) facilitated social enterprises to gain sales revenue of around 379.7 billion yuan (55 billion US dollars) and profit & tax of 47.2 billion yuan (6.8 billion US dollars) in 2016, according to reports.

Enterprises which CAS invested in achieved a revenue of 385 billion yuan (55.8 billion US dollars) and profit of 13.4 billion yuan (1.9 billion US dollars) in 2016.

In order to promote the transformation of scientific research achievement, CAS took measures including setting up the intellectual property right operation & management center and establishing related fund.
