CHENGDU, Jan. 4 (NBD) --Shanghai tops the 2016 comprehensive competitiveness ranking list of China cities, followed by Hong Kong and Shenzhen, according to China (HK) Institute of City Competitiveness's release on Tuesday.
This was the fourth consecutive year that Shanghai gains the laurel.
According to Xinhua report, the list is based on researches which lasted a year and targeted 358 cities at prefecture level and above in China.
The 4th to 10th cities on the list are Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Tianjin, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Nanjing.
