CHENGDU, Dec.27 (NBD) -- Revenue of state owned enterprises and state holding companies increased by 2.1101 trillion yuan (304 billion US dollars) with a year-on-year growth of 2.8% in the previous 11 months.

The revenue of SOEs totaled 40.8 trillion yuan (5.88 trillion US dollars) with a year-on-year growth of 2.4%.

In general, the companies in coal, steel and building-materials sector garnered notably higher profits than profits they created in 2015, while profits of those in textile, oil and tobacco industries shrank significantly.
