
The China Consumers Association (CCA) has made an official query about iPhoneshutdowns, asking Apple to give a response within 10 days. The response should addressthe reason why many iPhones are automatically shutting off, as well as offer a solution tothe problem.
A considerable number of iPhone users have reported the sudden and unpromptedshutdown of their devices. One iPhone 6 user stated that his iPhone automatically shut offdespite its 40-percent battery charge at the time. Apple customer service representativeshave pointed to cold temperatures and use of the phone while charging as possible causesof the issue. However, Chinese consumers are not satisfied with these explanations.
After receiving a high number of complaints, the China Consumers Association (CCA) hasasked Apple to investigate the problem and its probable cause. In addition, Apple has beenasked to provide a solution to the problem.
