On June 15, autonomous driving tech company WeRide has signed a cooperation agreement with Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and mobility tech company Uber Technologies, Inc. The three parties will collaborate to deploy commercial Robotaxi travel services in Dubai. The service will be launched on the Uber platform this year. At present, WeRide and Uber have started Robotaxi road testing in Dubai under the guidance of RTA.
