SAIC Group is in talks with Spain's Industry Ministry to establish its first electric vehicle plant in Europe, potentially producing MG cars. A decision is expected by September 30, with the first vehicle planned for Q4 2027. Spain is favored for the lower labor costs, but Hungary and the Czech Republic are also in consideration.
