On March 14th, NIO made adjustments to its Battery as a Service (BaaS) pricing system. Under the revised structure, customers who purchase NIO’s standard-range battery pack with BaaS will get a 70,000 CNY reduction in the vehicle price. The monthly service fee will also be lowered from 980 CNY to 728 CNY.

Similarly, for those buying the long-range battery pack with BaaS, the vehicle price is reduced by 128,000 CNY. The monthly service fee will be reduced from 1,680 CNY to 1,128 CNY. 

In addition, NIO has introduced a new voucher policy for BaaS battery rental services. For every BaaS bill payment, customers will receive a 100 CNY voucher, which can be directly applied to the purchase of a new vehicle.

Furthermore, NIO has launched a limited-time promotional offer for BaaS. From now until May 31, 2024, users who choose BaaS for battery rental will enjoy a “pay for 4 months, get 1 month free” deal on service fees, along with 60 complimentary battery swap vouchers.
