On November 29, 2023, Chinese automaker Neta announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM), an Indonesian electric vehicle manufacturer. Under the agreement, Nio's products will begin to be produced in Indonesia in the second quarter of 2024 in the form of complete knock-down (CKD) kits. Additionally, Nio has completed the delivery of its first batch of new cars to customers in Indonesia. By 2024, Nio plans to have a global sales network covering 50 countries and 500 overseas sales and service outlets.
