June 27 (NBD) -- Chinese power provider Hubei Energy Group Co Ltd (Hubei Energy, 000883.SZ) said its hydropower projects that are under construction or to be constructed will not be affected by the environmental audit report on the Yangtze River Economic Belt released by the National Audit Office of China on June 19.

It is the first time that the Chinese auditor issued a report focusing on the ecological and environmental conditions in the area. 

The report also mentioned the negative impacts of small hydropower stations on the ecological environment.
