June 13 (NBD) -- China National Chemical Engineering Co Ltd (CNCEC, 601117.SH) announced Wednesday it has signed contracts worth a total of 28.33 billion yuan (4.4 billion U.S. dollars) in May, and its revenue of the month reached 5.98 billion yuan (932.1 million U.S. dollars).

The value of contracts signed in the first 5 months of this year hit 61.15 billion yuan (9.5 billion U.S. dollars), with a year-over-year surge of 62 percent, and the revenue gained in the same period registered 25.97 billion yuan (4.0 billion U.S. dollars), up 44 percent from a year earlier.
