The Western China Motor Expo 2017 in Chengdu will be open on June 17 in the Eastern Suburb Memory in Chenghua District.

The two-day event opening 09:00-17:30 daily and covering an exhibition area of 8,000 sq.m., is organized by Zhuantou Automobiles, a company with a business model of "Internet + auto expo." 50 auto makers will showcase over 400 models including all best-sellers on the market.

Visitors can take delivery, pay purchase tax and apply for a vehicle license plate immediately after placing an order during the expo.

As a major transportation hub in western China, Chengdu's auto industry is thriving with the second largest number of registered cars in China.

Besides the annual Chengdu Motor Show (CDMS), the expo reflects the importance attached by major automakers to the Chengdu market, which serves as a stronghold to expand their sales network in southwestern China.
