Finland Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference, as a major event during 2017 China Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair, will be held in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Slush, the largest entrepreneurship and investment platform in Northern Europe, will work with the innovation center of Chengdu High-Tech Zone and Chengdu innovation center for European Union projects, to hold a special event titled "Slush Up! Chengdu".

"Slush Up! Chengdu" is to launch online project competition, speeches from established enterprises, new products releases, onsite road shows and other activities centering Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Artificial Intelligence(AI), games, media communication and innovative industry.

2017 China Chengdu Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair is scheduled to commence on May 10. It's expected to hold 17 major events and invite 36 countries, 30 well-known universities, 60 investment institutions from home and abroad, 500 foreign guests and 1,200 more distinguished guests.

"Slush Up! Chengdu" will attract global innovation departments, representatives from innovation institutions, startups, colleges and universities, incubators, venture capital enterprises from Finland, the United States, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Poland, New Zealand, Russia and other countries and representatives from embassies and consulates in China.

Slush conference has been successfully held in Helsinki, Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore and Shanghai. This Chengdu event is the first in China this year. Miao Xiaobo, director of the Chengdu Hi-tech zone's innovation center, said that the event will focus on hot sectors including ICT, AI, games, media communication and innovative industry. The event aims to promote the innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation between Western China and the international community through keynote speeches, high-end dialogues and other channels.
