At 7:53 on Friday, Tiankun-1 new technology test satellite, was successfully launched from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

The satellite has entered the scheduled orbit.

Tiankun-1 is the first satellite independently developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The mission is to carry out verification test of remote sensing, communication and small satellite platform. The successful launch broadens China's platform spectrum of low-orbiting small general satellites.
