CHENGDU, Feb. 24 (NBD) -- In response to the widely spread report that Huawei will set foot in car manufacturing, the Chinese tech giant said that it has no plan to enter the sector or make cars under the Huawei brand. 

The company told Caixin that it focuses on ICT and seeks extensive cooperation with carmakers to provide interconnected solutions to vehicle platforms.
