CHENGDU, Jan. 24 (NBD) -- The biggest highlight of the Sun Festival of Jinsha at Jinsha Site Museum, a special exhibition entitled "Ancient Egypt: World of Pharaohs and Gods" kicked off on Monday.
Scheduled to run until May 4, the event puts on display 155 pieces/sets of ancient Egyptian antiquities from Royal Ontario Museum of Canada, the fifth largest museum in North America, including statue of Cleopatra VII, mummies, book of the dead, and bronze god statues.
Visitors can also enjoy lantern show, art performance, and flower fair during the Sun Festival of Jinsha through February 12 to experience the collision between the ancient Egyptian and Shu culture.
