CHENGDU, Jan. 23 (NBD) -- London-headquartered multinational insurance company Aviva announced on Friday that the company has entered into an agreement with leading investment management firm Hillhouse Capital Group (Hillhouse) and Tencent, Chinese leading Internet service provider, to jointly establish a Hong Kong-based insurance firm.

Aviva and Hillhouse are to hold each 40 percent stake of the new company, with Tencent the other 20 percent. The new company will specialize in digital insurance business.
