CHENGDU, Jan.5 (NBD) -- Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Master's victories against elite Go players online have promptly aroused attention from investors to listed companies in AI sector.

DeepMind, subsidiary of Google, revealed on Wednesday that the identity of "Master", which has defeated 54 world elite Go players online, is the latest version of its computer program AlphaGo. Google has not confirmed it yet.

In response to inquiries about the company's tactic and prospect towards AI field, last Saturday, Thunder Software Technology Co., Ltd. (300496), a leading smart device operating system and platform technology provider, said that fostering technological platforms for Internet of Things is still the major strategy and its AI technology is at the initial stage.

Software enterprise iFLYTEK (002230) expressed that the company is advantageous in AI innovation and will continue with technological progress and industry development.

Initial moves have been made in AI sector by some A-shares listed companies. Beijing Kunlun Tech Co., Ltd. (300418) announced last March that its wholly-owned subsidiary plans to finance 3 million US dollars for Kunlun AI, with other companies.
