CHENGDU, Jan.4 (NBD) -- Sinomine Resource Exploration Co., Ltd. (Sinomine) announced late Tuesday that the company has signed a construction contract worth 247 million US dollars with Ministry of Defence, Republic of Zambia. 

As stipulated in the contract, Sinomine is the general contractor and undertakes construction of a military camp for Zambian Army and its regional headquarter in Choma area. 

The project covers an area of about 200,000 square meters (about 49.42 acres), consisting of housing, office buildings and ancillary facilities.
