CHENGDU, Dec.28 (NBD) -- China's smart phone producer OPPO plans to invest 216 million US dollars to build an industrial park in India's Greater Noida, expected to be completed within 3 years. 

With the existing manufacturing base and marketing center in India, OPPO's industrial park is designed to cover an area of 1,000 acres and expected to generate an annual capacity of 100 million sets of mobiles after establishment. 

According to statistics from GSMA, India has surpassed U.S. as the world's second largest mobile market in 2016 where the number of smart phone users is 275 million and is expected to reach 1 billion by 2020.
