CHENGDU, Dec. 28 (NBD) -- China is to reduce the circulation cost and increase circulation efficiency through developing intelligent and green circulation, to encourage new trade methods including cross-border e-commence and automobiles parallel import, and to implement policies including extending duty-free consumption, said the 2016 national commerce work conference held in Beijing.

Some enterprises followed suit and rashly invested in unfamiliar sectors overseas over recent years. With regard to such situation, Gao Hucheng, Minister of Commerce of China commented, overseas investment must stick to the general orientation to serve the real economy. Industrial investment should be the focus. Enterprises should detect the shortcomings in existing technology and operation and proactively access international high-end elements through investment and acquisition in order to promote industry transformation and upgrading in China.
