CHENGDU, Dec.27 (NBD) -- Mao Qingguo, president of China Salt Association said on Wednesday that a digital salt tracking system and salt enterprise credit system will be set up to ensure table salt security and stabilize market prices.

China projected to reform the salt industry, in an effort to abolish its state salt monopoly which signals the likely end of a 2,000 year-old tradition first established during the Spring and Autumn Period.
