CHENGDU, Dec. 26 (NBD) -- Visegrad Group (V4) Film Festival was unveiled last Friday in Chengdu Fang Suo Commune, a bookstore of artistic features. 

Mr.Petr Dolezal, Consul at Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu, and Ms.Katarzyna Wilkowiecka, Consul General at Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chengdu, read to the audience chapters by Milan Kundera and Adam Mickiewicz at the opening ceremony. 

Visegrad Group is a platform where countries Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary hold talks on European and regional issues. It aims to promote a cultural community and strengthen collaboration in fields of culture, science and technology, education and youth exchange. The year 2016 marks its 25th anniversary since establishment. 

V4 Film Festival, this time, is to bring facets of central European life style, humor and culture to Chengdu citizens and media. The event is scheduled to last until Wednesday.
