China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited ("the Company", SH 600115, close price: 4.58 yuan) announced on January 18 that the Company received the resignation letter from the chairman of the supervisory board, Mr. Xi Sheng, on January 18, 2021. As a result of the adjustment of duties, Mr. Xisheng has offered to resign as chairman and supervisor of the Company's supervisory board, with the resignation to take effect upon the arrival of the resignation letter.

From April 2018 to April 2020, he took a temporary post as a member of the standing committee of Wuhu Municipal Committee and deputy mayor of Wuhu, Anhui Province.

Guo Lijun graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and held a master's degree in laws at the University of Washington, a master's degree in laws and EMBA at Fudan University, and held a title of corporate legal adviser.

The 2019 annual report shows that the main business of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited is revenue from aviation business, accounting for 96.48% of revenue.

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited's chairman is Liu Shaoyong, male, 62, graduated from Civil Aviation Flight University of China, MBA of Tsinghua University, master pilot. China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited's general manager is Li Yangmin, male, 58 years old, graduated from Civil Aviation University of China, Northwestern Polytechnical University, master's degree, executive MBA of Fudan University, professor-level senior engineer.
