Acosta Danza, a Havana-based dancing group, will perform in the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 in Beijing.

The art troupe will bring creative and visionary dancing performances choreographed by artists from across the world, such as Pontus Lidberg from Sweden and Spanish artist Goyo Montero.

A total of three dances will be staged, including a 17-minute Rumba called "Paysage, Soudain, La Nuit" showcasing Cuban culture and an 18-minute dance-sport piece titled "Twelve."

Launched by leading ballet performer Carlos Acosta in 2017, the dance group features a mixture of ballet and contemporary dances and shines a light on the vibrancy and richness of Cuban culture and artists.

Tickets for the performance are now available on the NCPA website, ranging from 100 yuan (about 14 U.S. dollars) to 580 yuan.
