June 26 (NBD) -- Shareholders of Chinese Universe Publishing and Media Co Ltd (600373.SH) planned transferred a 5.02 percent stake to a tech company for 876 million yuan (134.3 million U.S. dollars), the publishing firm announced Tuesday.

Upon the completion of the new deal, the Xiamen-based tech firm and the person acting in concert will  hold a total of 5.33 percent stake in the publishing company. The tech company has no plan to increase stakes in the following 12 months, but it may unload shares depending on the situation.
