The application of projects for Chengdu Hi-Tech Talent Plan 2017 has been started. The projects applied are divided into 6 types and the financial support for projects varies from 50,000 yuan (7250 U.S. dollars) to 5 million yuan (725,270 U.S. dollars). 

According to Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone, the selected project list will be published at the end of June. 

In September last year, Chengdu Hi-Tech Talent Plan has been launched and an annual fund of 1 billion yuan (145 million U.S. dollars) is set for talent introduction and training. 

Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone is also planning to build project incubation area and integrated service area to support project incubation.
