The first flagship store of US lingerie brand Victoria's Secret (VS) opened for trial operations on Huaihai Road in Shanghai on Thursday.

The four-floor flagship store, the first one in China, sells all lines of VS lingerie products, as well as perfumes and body care products, according to a statement VS sent to the Global Times on Thursday. 

According to the statement, China already has 26 VS shops in the mainland that sell a limited range of VS products, including cosmetics and accessories. 

A customer told the Global Times on Thursday on condition of anonymity that she was strongly attracted by VS' exquisite designs. "Besides, VS' prices are also acceptable for an ordinary white-collar worker like me," she said. 

The flagship store will formally open in early March.
