CHENGDU, Feb. 21 (NBD) --Export and import growths of Southwest China's Sichuan Province and its capital city Chengdu in January present even higher than national figure of corresponding period, according to latest statistics by customs authority of Chengdu.

Total imports and exports of Sichuan sees a year-on-year increase of 76.2% to 31.71 billion yuan (4.61 billion US dollars), of which Chengdu accounts for 27.69 billion yuan (4.02 billion US dollars) with 99.3% year-on-year growth.
