CHENGDU, Dec. 28 (NBD) -- Southwest China's Chengdu is expected to build China's largest urban rail transport network with a mileage of 2450 kilometers and a total of 46 circuits.

The network will fully cover the city’s transportation service and transfer from monocentric network structure to “dual core” independent network structure.

By facilitating the construction of metro and railway, the network will eventually achieve the goal of public transport accounting for 70% of motorized traffic and railway transport accounting for 80% of public transport.
