CHENGDU, Dec.27 (NBD) -- General Admission of Sport and National Bureau of Statistics jointly announced that China's sports industry output hit 1.7 tln yuan (245.2 billion US dollars) in 2015, marking up 0.8% of its GDP.

The output in sporting goods manufacturing sector and its growth accounts for 65.7% and 50.2% of the total. The output in sport service sector (excluding sports goods manufacturing and stadium construction) and its growth makes up 33.4% and 49.2% of the total.
