The panda fans were recruited from more than one million participants around the world via the "Beautiful China, more than pandas" global promotional campaign launched in Berlin, Germany, on September 2.

The panda fans, who are from ten countries and regions, will explore Sichuan's unique local culture and folk customs.

They will experience local lifestyle at the famous Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu, capital of the province, visit the giant panda breeding base and tour some of the top destinations.

The campaign was organized by China National Tourism Administration and Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Committee.
