CHENGDU, Dec. 14 (NBD) -- China has generated 12.49 million jobs from January to November, according to the latest statistics published by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

The target to create 10 million jobs in 2016, which was presented by Premier Li Keqiang earlier this year, has been achieved one month in advance.

This is the third time that China’s job creation has exceeded 12 million since 2014.

Chen Yuyu, Director in Institute of Economic Policy Research of Peking University, said that under the pressure of downward economics, the positive job creation attributed to the large employment demand in booming development of service industry.
