CHENGDU, Dec. 13 (NBD) -- A Guideline on implementation of poverty alleviation through employment has recently been issued by China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Finance and the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development of China.

The Guideline called on taking concrete measures, including job creation, labor collaboration as well as trainings, as important ways to create development momentum for 10 million poverty-stricken poplulation in the country.

China aims to eliminate poverty by 2020 when its 13th Five-Year Plan is completed. As of the end of 2015, China still had 55.75 million people living in poverty.
