CHENGDU, Dec.5 (NBD) -- “Sound of the Xity - Music Industry International Forum” was on stage Sunday in Sichuan’s capital city Chengdu, drawing near 200 professional musicians from home and abroad to discuss hot music-related topics. 

The event was aimed to provide platform for talented grass-root music lovers who aspire to build up their vocal career in the future. 

Bills totaling 15.4 billion yuan (about 2.23 billion U.S. dollars) have been concluded so far, and Chengdu is expediting pace in building itself as the “City of Music”.
